Autumnal Weaning Wonders

Autumnal Weaning Wonders - Bubba & Me

As the leaves turn golden and the air grows crisp, autumn presents the perfect opportunity to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of flavours!

One of our favourite recipes for babies on their weaning journey is the classic Autumnal Butternut Squash Soup.

Here's why:
1. Natural Sweetness
Butternut squash has a natural sweetness that appeals to bubbas' palates, making it more likely for them to enjoy and accept it.
2. Smooth Texture
Once blended, this soup offers a creamy texture that's perfect for babies who are just starting to transition from milk to solids.
3. Nutrient-rich
Packed with vitamins and minerals like Vitamin A, Vitamin C, magnesium, and potassium, butternut squash is a great addition to your baby's diet.

Weaning tips and tricks
Remember to go slowly and introduce one new food at a time and wait a few days before introducing another. This helps identify any potential allergies or intolerances.

Try and offer variety b rotating between different vegetables, fruits, grains and protein sources to ensure a balance diet.

Make it fun and engage their senses - let them play with their food and explore textures, smell and taste. Our weaning essentials are perfect for some mealtime fun!

Ensure that your bubba is in a safe environment and monitor them closely while eating. Lastly, stay positive - every child is different. Some might love butternut squash from the get-go, while others may need several introductions.
